Susan Holland

Sue’s practice covers all areas of the firm’s employment law practice group.  She utilizes her experience to support and defend clients on employment-related litigation matters in court and administrative proceedings.  When advising clients, she believes the most cost-effective strategy is compliance, and she collaborates with management to navigate them through the milieu of ever-changing employment laws.

“To this day, I rely on lessons learned as a kid while raking up walnuts on my family’s ranch and have found that grit and elbow grease never fail me when working to achieve favorable outcomes for my clients.”

“In my down time, you can find me hunting for new recipes to bake or outside on an adventure with my family.”

Experience

“Whether counseling or litigating, I advise clients to adopt strategies that put them in a strong position from the outset.  For example, one result I am proud of ended with the client recouping fees because I proved the case against it was meritless after prevailing in federal court in a pre-trial motion.”
