Michael R. Williams is a seasoned litigation attorney with close to three decades of experience advising clients on complex real estate and business disputes. At Boutin Jones, Michael represents a diverse portfolio of clients—from national real estate developers and international corporations to public entities and financial institutions. His practice encompasses commercial litigation, contract disputes, construction law, real estate matters, and creditor rights, with a proven record in trial, appellate, and regulatory forums.

Michael’s notable achievements include resolving a $12 million government claim tied to a $120 million water treatment project, defending national banks in high-stakes litigation, and trying multifaceted cases involving CC&R interpretation, fiduciary duties, and unfair business practices. He has also successfully litigated intellectual property cases involving trade secrets and handled matters before FINRA.

His leadership extends into the community, where he has served on multiple nonprofit boards, including as Chair of Safety Center Incorporated and as a board member for Diogenes Youth Services.
