On February 28, 2022, Governor Newsom issued Executive Order N-5-22, which suspends part of the Cal/OSHA Temporary Emergency Standards. Specifically, effective today, unvaccinated employees are no longer required to wear a face covering in most California workplaces. Notably, however, the universal indoor mask mandate remains in place for certain high-risk settings, such as healthcare and congregate settings.
