In Memoriam: Jeffry Richard Jones

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jeff Jones on June 24, 2025, at the age of 75.

In 2010, Jeff was part of the exceptional group of attorneys who joined from McDonough, Holland & Allen. This marked the beginning of a new chapter for our firm and led to the name we carry today. As a highly respected real estate attorney, Jeff brought an unwavering commitment to his clients. His practice was built on trust, integrity, and a deep knowledge of California real estate law. These qualities earned Jeff statewide recognition, including being named a “Best Lawyer” in his field, and helped shape the firm we are today.

Jeff retired from the practice of law in 2018, but his influence at the firm continues to be felt. He was more than a skilled attorney, he was a mentor, a colleague, and a friend. He helped set a standard of excellence that lives on in our culture. We are grateful for Jeff’s leadership, friendship, and lasting contributions to our firm and our profession.

We extend our deepest condolences to Jeff’s wife of 53 years, Jennifer; his daughters Jessica, Kristen, and Stephanie; and his beloved grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
