Boutin Jones Adds Attorney J.M. Florentino to Growing Corporate Practice

J.M. Florentino has joined Boutin Jones’ corporate group where he will assist businesses with the entire range of transactions, including entity formations, asset purchases, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and general corporate matters.

He has a J.D. from U.C. Davis School of Law where he graduated in the Top 5% of his class. He also earned a B.B.A. in Finance from Loyola Marymount University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He joins Boutin Jones after serving as a corporate law summer associate with the firm and subsequently a judicial extern for the Honorable Troy L. Nunley of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.

He developed a keen interest in business law in an unlikely place — while serving in the Peace Corps in Ghana, West Africa. He served as an agriculture business advisor and helped local businesses thrive and lift the community.

He is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Sacramento Filipino American Lawyers Association.
