Top Sacramento Law Firm Boutin Jones Inc. Elects Bob Swanson as President and Chair of the Board

Sacramento-based Boutin Jones Inc. shareholders have elected Bob Swanson as President and Chair of the Board. Swanson will lead the 50-lawyer firm and Chair its governing board that includes firm shareholders Bashar Ahmad, Jarrod Burch, Kim Lucia and Bob Rubin. This is Swanson’s second stint as President and Chair of the law firm, one of region’s largest law firms.

Swanson has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years and is a season litigator, trial attorney and business counselor to some of the region’s largest companies and their senior management. He is also a leader in the region and was most recently the Chair of the 2022 Board of Directors for the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, where he continues to serve on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

The firm’s success has been achieved by helping grow Sacramento’s business community, rather than through geographic expansion. “Our law firm continues to be one of the strongest in the region because of a singular focus on supporting the region’s businesses and the people who own them,” Swanson said.

He is a graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and Biola University. In addition to leading Boutin Jones, he will continue handling business disputes and provide strategic business counseling to his clients.
