The Basics

I practice employment law, with a focus on counseling employers on ever-evolving laws and regulations.

Delivering for Clients

I draw from a wide range of experiences in helping clients both prevent problems and solve them if they cannot be avoided. For example, during law school I interned for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, working primarily with individual claimants, but I also have represented employers in private practice. Through these different perspectives I gained valuable insight into the balancing act that employers face in navigating employment situations.

My family and I love taking short weekend trips, and we have been exploring all that California has to offer – Carmel, Tahoe, Napa, and even Palm Springs! Dog-friendly places are a huge plus, and I am always taking recommendations.
