Lee Seale

Lee Seale is an attorney at Boutin Jones Inc. in the Labor and Employment Law practice group. He provides strategic advice to businesses and other employers throughout California. 

Mr. Seale draws on his experience as the former CEO of the Sacramento Superior Court, where he served over 60 Judges and led a team of over 700 employees, including more than 40 attorneys, spanning all aspects of government: legal research, human resources, labor relations, information technology, facility management, communications, operations, accounting, and contracting. His previous experience also includes serving as the Chief Probation Officer for Sacramento County and teaching courses for the UC Davis School of Law and the University of California. He has decades of experience in executive leadership, employment law, and labor relations in both state and local government.

During his time at the California Attorney General’s Office, Mr. Seale litigated in the California Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the California Court of Appeal, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and more than a dozen state trial courts throughout California. He later served as a Governor-appointed expert in federal class action litigation involving employee investigations.
