Kara Anderson is an Associate at Boutin Jones and part of the firm’s Real Estate group. Kara earned her J.D. with Great Distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of the Pacific Law Review and received the Outstanding Student Achievement Award for the Class of 2025. Before law school, Kara served as a Judicial Fellow at Placer County Superior Court as a member of the Capital Fellows Program. During law school, she gained hands-on experience in commercial real estate transactions as a Summer Associate at Boutin Jones and worked on land use and environmental matters at Abbott & Kindermann, Inc. Kara also brings valuable insight from judicial externships at both the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
