Claudia Zapien

Claudia Zapien is an experienced and dedicated paralegal in the Trusts and Estates and Corporate Law practice groups at Boutin Jones. She has more than eight years of experience assisting attorneys and specializes in probate, trusts and estates, and corporate law. Before joining Boutin Jones, Claudia was a senior paralegal at a boutique law firm in Sacramento.  She earned her bachelor’s degree from  California State University of Sacramento and her Paralegal Certificate from the University of the Pacific.  Claudia is fluent in Spanish and is a current Notary Public.

Claudia is recognized for her compassionate client service, particularly when guiding families through the legal complexities that follow the loss of a loved one, as well as for assisting business clients to ensure their companies are properly established for success.  She is a vital team member, supporting attorneys with her broad range of skills and dedication to delivering the highest level of service.  Known for her exceptional attention to detail, strong research abilities, and calm efficiency under pressure, Claudia manages all phases of probate, estate and trust administration, estate planning, and corporate formation and governance matters.

In her free time, Claudia enjoys going to the gym, exploring new places, attending sports events, and spending time with family.
