The Basics

I practice labor and employment law. My practice focuses on handling employment litigation and providing counsel to employers to help them comply with the law and effectively address emerging employment issues.

Delivering for Clients

As a judicial law clerk for the U.S. District Court, I gained experience working on a wide variety of cases at all stages of litigation, including numerous employment-related lawsuits involving claims of harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination and retaliation under both California and federal law. I utilize this experience, and the perspective gained from having worked within the judiciary, to develop efficient litigation strategies and effectively advocate for clients in state and federal courts. I also draw on this experience to assist employers in navigating the employment law landscape to prevent employment problems, and in resolving such problems when they arise.

Coming from a small town in Northern California, I have enjoyed taking root in the ever-changing greater Sacramento area and learning more about the region from my wife and her family, all of whom are Sacramento natives. When I am not in the office, I can be found walking my dogs with my wife in Historic Folsom, rooting for my wife’s soccer teams in East Sacramento and Elk Grove, and trying new restaurants with family and friends in Midtown.
