ATTORNEYS AT LAW

Leah Capranica
Associate
Leah Capranica is a civil litigator whose experience prior to joining Boutin Jones’ litigation department includes not only two Judicial Externships in the region and a summer associate role at Boutin Jones, but professional roles including co-founding a proprietary trading firm and working in the office of the Illinois State Treasurer.
During Externships at the Eastern District of California and the Sacramento Superior Court, she observed both federal civil and criminal proceedings and numerous courts and state judicial processes, gaining a wealth of experience with the intricacies of navigating court systems at different levels.
She is actively engaged in the Sacramento community and currently serves as a Strategic Planning Committee Member of the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, helping to develop outreach to inspire a love of symphony and opera to younger generations.
“I practice general civil litigation, working on business disputes ranging anywhere from fraud, trade secrets, and real estate disputes, to construction and permit issues.”
Not only do I love DYI projects, I enjoy taking home renovation to another level. I have restored an old historic home from the studs up, including working on plumbing, electrical, framing, roofing, floors—all of it.
