Jonathan E. Christianson has joined Boutin Jones Inc. as a shareholder. Christianson brings the total number of attorneys at Boutin Jones to 45. His addition continues a pattern of steady growth for the firm, which recently became the region’s fifth largest law firm.
Christianson comes to Boutin Jones after having been a shareholder at Mayo & Christianson, Inc. and a solo practitioner. He has also worked extensively with Asset Preservation, Inc., where he worked as outside general counsel and prior to that worked with the group internally as Corporate C ounsel and served as Vice President.
He works with organizations on complex real estate and business transactions, including the transfer of business entities and provides tax planning, estate and business planning. He received both his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mr. Christianson will work within Boutin Jones’ growing corporate, securities, real estate and tax groups. “Having worked cooperatively with Boutin Jones on many client matters in the past, I have always been very impressed with their expertise and willingness to collaborate on a broad range of legal matters. Joining Boutin is a great fit for me, and will allow me to better serve my clients,” Christianson said.
A regular speaker on real estate issues and member of the California State Bar’s Taxation Section, Christianson resides in Loomis.
