
When I’m not doing real estate work, I like to work with my hands. Whether it’s restoring old cars, doing landscaping or construction projects around the house—those types of projects are so different from what I do for my job.

Representation of several developers of master planned communities in project setup and documentation of the myriad of transactions involved in master planned communities.
Local counsel for Lennar Corporation, a national merchant homebuilder, and representation of it in its acquisition/merger of Winncrest Homes, which at the time, was the largest residential transaction in Sacramento history, and in a subsequent transaction which involved multiple properties valued at over one billion dollars.
Representation of landowners and developers in forming joint ventures, and continued representation of merchant homebuilders Lennar Homes and JMC Homes on a day-to-day basis, handling acquisitions, dispositions, development and related work.
Representation of AKT Investments and other landowners in a series of transactions with solar energy companies for commercial production of solar energy. Representation of mitigation bank and mitigation rights developers in connection with its environmental mitigation bank documentation.

Representation of the County of Los Angeles Department of Beaches and Harbors in connection with the mixed-use development in Marina Del Rey, providing real estate counsel on complicated and innovative leasing, subleasing and financing transactions involving property worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Representation of the County of Ventura as advisory counsel for a similar, smaller scale project.
Representation of the Daly City Redevelopment Agency in its partial acquisition, co-tenancy and financing of a completed office building within the redevelopment project area.
