The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (the “Act”) was enacted on March 18, 2020. This Act extends emergency family leave and emergency paid sick leave to many employers and employees. While no effective date has yet been established, the Act will take effect no later than April 2, 2020. It will expire on December 31, 2020.
