Boutin Jones Inc. Names New Managing Shareholder

Boutin Jones Inc. announced today that Bob Swanson has been elected as Managing Shareholder. Mr. Swanson replaces John Di Giusto who will be leaving the firm in July to become General Counsel to Jelly Belly Candy Company. Swanson is a business trial lawyer who has practiced law for more than 20 years, and has been with the Firm since its founding. Mr. Swanson will continue his litigation practice during his term as Managing Shareholder.

“I’m honored to have been selected by my partners to lead this firm of extraordinary lawyers,” says Swanson. “The firm provides exceptional service to the region’s leading institutions and individuals, and it will be my job not only to continue that tradition, but also to strengthen and expand the firm’s relationships with the regional business community. I am thrilled about what the future holds for this firm.”

The firm, which is managed by a Board of Directors currently consisting of Swanson, Jeff Jones, Julia Jenness and Kent Silvester, will appoint another Director to fill the current vacancy created by Di Giusto’s move and Swanson’s election to Managing Shareholder.
